Press conference: parallel press conferences will be arranged in each country in order to launch the project. Attendants of press conferences will be: a representation of each local youth parliament/permanent forum, representatives of local youth organizations and public organizations working with young people.

Selection of training attendants (15 for each country): selection will be done through the existing local youth parliaments and the permanent forum in Slovenia. Youth parliaments/permanent forums will promote this initiative locally in order to collect candidatures from young people willing to join the Youth Media Training. Selection will be based on the following criteria: a) willingness of participating to the project activities until its deadline; b) knowledge of English language; c) experience as a volunteer or as operator either in 1 of the 4 topics or in the communication field.

Youth Media Training: selected young people will undergo a non-formal training focused on how to use media in order to promote and inform young people and civil society about the selected topics. Training activity will be done by media experts from the local involved Tv channels/networks. This training will be preparatory to the development of the Tv format and the Tv episodes.

Production of the Tv format. The episodes will be prepared by local Tv networks in cooperation with trained young people. They will be registered and will be based on 4 topics (Environmental risks, addictions, immigration, poverty and social exclusion). Each episode will involve young people and will broadcast interviews made by young people to politicians and other local stakeholders. There will also be transversal phone interviews to young people from the other countries involved in the same activities. The total amount of episodes will be 30.  

Broadcasting of Tv episodes. Each country will broadcast 3 episodes. Episodes will be promoted in schools as well as in all youth centres.

Streaming web site. Project partners will use this web site to uploade Tv episodes as well as intermediate products developed by young people.

Final conference. This conference will put together entertainment, information, media and active citizenship, promotion of the information equipment developed during the project. The conference, prepared by young people for young people, will be dedicated to the promotion of European Citizenship and will focus, especially, on the 2010’s topic “Poverty and Social Exclusion”.
